I have a redhat 7 fax sevrer with a External Serial Modem for only receives fax. I have used it this 2 year without problem. I failed after I move the sever to new office. It cannot receives fax now.

The telephone line is work.
The modem is connected to COM1.
The faxq and hfaxd is running.

I have the following problem:
1) How can I know the momem is working or not? How to test it?

2) How can I know the fax server is working or not?

3) Does External Serial Modem need driver?
