Can you copy text using your mouse?
From time to time, I'm unable to copy text from this forum. I might be crazy, so I decided to do a little social comparison and ask if any of you were having the same problem.

Do you mean the X Windows copy/paste? You can highlight text and middle click to paste it. This method is dependent on the source still being present for it to paste. If you close your browser it won't be paste-able (if that's a word).

Maybe it's a firefox problem. I can't figure out why sometimes I can copy and sometimes I can't. It's annoying, though. Especially when I'm trying to transfer code.

Using the mouse is how I always c&p.
Select the text, right click on selected text, go where I want to put the text, right click again and select paste.

Mine behaves the same as bigtomrodney's, I can also highlight a url in any webpage and middle click anywhere in a browser window to fetch that url.
I do not respond to private messages asking for Linux help, Please keep it on the forums only.

Using Firefox here and both methods always work fine for me.
I generally use the left button to highlight, then the right button to copy/paste, but the middle click works any time the right button fails to work.oz
