When in packet writing mode the light on the usb external DVD/RW often flashes *all* the time. Sometimes when the drive is not spinning. Is it possible to say what, if anything, this implies?? It doesn't flash if the computer is turned off. I get quite a bit of trouble with I/O and scsi troubles when packet writing, was wondering if this informed it. Does not happen when packet writing with CD s only DVD s.
