    difference between i810_drv.so and intel_drv.so


    I'm a bit confused: what's the difference between i810 video driver for intel and intel video driver for intel ? (Fedora 7 has two of them installed). I need to update a video driver and there are different links to different drivers available.

    The intel driver is newer and contains new features/functionality but is not considered to be 100% stable afaik. Most distros are offering both as options.
