M-Audio sound card:Will it work on Linux?
I don know if I can run M-Audio sound card software on Linux or if has drivers for this sound card.I was planning to buy this sound card in order to connect my PC to a Stereo amplifier!

Looks like a very nice card.
I've never used one personally but have read a number of online articles that said it works fine under Linux using the ALSA drivers.oz

The alsa driver IS a ready to go driver. Most distros come with alsa, and if yours doesn't it's probably meant for embedded devices or some very specific use which most people won't use. Chances are, with today's mainstream distros, the card will be autodetected and the driver autoloaded at boot without you even realizing it until you hear it. The instructions they give are for if by some odd chance you don't have the driver and tools installed already, or want to use a newer version. The kernel comes with the drivers, by the way.
