As far as I can tell this (the original) version of photo scanner should be supported but it doesn't show up as a local device with either Gimp Acquire or Kooka. Should I be trying to access it some other way ?

What might be more important is I'm connecting with a SIIG Fast SCSI Pro which doesn't seem to have Linux support. Are there any currently available SCSI cards which would give me a plug'n'play (or at least easily understandable) solution ?
