Linux for New Hardware
I have purchased new hardware about a month ago now and cannot find a compatible Linux dist for my system. I am getting really short tempered with it as I am forced to run Windows Vista and this OS has so much lag that I get impatient, although I purchased new hardware for better performance.
All I need my computer to do is run VMWare and be able to build test networks. Email is critical as well.
If any one knows a Linux distro on this system please let me know.
Currently I get errors and hardware issues.
Must run on KDE Desktop
Gigabyte GA-MA790FX-DQ6 AM2+ Mainboard
AMD Phenom GP-9500 2.2GHz Quad Core AM2+ CPU
8GB (4x 2GB) DDR2 Memory
HDD0 - 320GB SATA2 3GBps HDD
HDD1 - RAID1 2x 1000GB SATA2 3GBps HDD
XFX Force DDR3 256MB Dual DVI Video
Thanks in Advance
