Gainward GeForce FX5700 256mb and framebuffer?
My graphics card, Gainward GeForce FX5700, doesn't seem to support framebuffer. When I boot in Mandrake (9.2), I should get a nice blue screen with a progressbar on it. But I don't. I have already tried to change mode to 1024x768x16 (Framebuffer only) in /etc/lilo.conf. But still with no results.
So, does that mean that my card doesn't support framebuffer??

hey, I don't have an answer for you, but I've been trying to get rid of that nice blue screen you've been trying to get. Could you post your lilo.conf file, or whatever other file might be responsible?
