    Installing new power supply

I was given a IBM Personal Computer 300GL. The machine is nice but the power supply was a filthy/dusty mess and now it is starting to whine.
Sometime ago, I bought a PowerKing 450 watt sata dual fan atx power supply. It has a 20 pin connector with a 4 (de)attatchable pin clip for mb. The mb is 20 pin. It looks like it will fit in the box just fine.
That should be ok to use, shouldn't it?

The old ps was 150 watt.

    Thanks

The extra wattage won't hurt anything at all, so as long as it fits properly in the case and has the correct connectors, you should most definitely go for it.

Didn't work. It had to fit in a holding bracket
    Thanks anyway.
