Anyone using one of these monitors? I just bought one and I'm not seeing the text as clear as I thought I would. Maybe it's just my eyes, not sure. I'm running it at full 1900x1200 with a Nvidia FX5500 card. I installed the Nvidia driver using Nvidia's bin file. I have looked at the Nvidia X Server Setting but don't know what I could tune to see if the text comes in clear. Any help would be a big plus. Even if I should be looking at something else.
Also I have the problem that when starting X it starts in 1600x1200 instead of 1900x1200.
Here is my xorg.cfg:
Searched some on the web but didn't find anything.Code:~ $ cat /etc/X11/xorg.conf # nvidia-xconfig: X configuration file generated by nvidia-xconfig # nvidia-xconfig: version 1.0 (buildmeister@builder3) Thu Feb 14 18:20:37 PST 2008 # nvidia-settings: X configuration file generated by nvidia-settings # nvidia-settings: version 1.0 (buildmeister@builder3) Thu Dec 13 19:10:32 PST 2007 # Xorg configuration created by system-config-display Section "ServerLayout" Identifier "single head configuration" Screen 0 "Screen0" 0 0 InputDevice "Mouse0" "CorePointer" InputDevice "Keyboard0" "CoreKeyboard" EndSection Section "Files" # RgbPath is the location of the RGB database. Any help would be appreciated.
