Ubuntu 7.04 server amd65
i-rocks 1600dpi Wired Laser Mouse (IR-7521L)

The captioned mouse works on this box. But on scrolling it looks like jumping. It doesn't scroll smoothly. Occasionally it even jumps to another Workspace


Today I purchased a 5-button MS Wireless Laser Mouse 6000. I tested it on this box. It worked fine. Scrolling was very smooth NOT like jumping. Neither it jumped to another Workspace.


Please advise where I have to check and how to fix this problem. TIA
