I have been able to get my fingerprint reader to work in console mode using the instructions at Using Fingerprint Authentication - openSUSE

However, i would like to have fingerprint authentication for normal login process also and tried to build the bioapi as indicated at

I get an error while issuing he command make for installing the bioapi from source. The output of my exercise is given below:
