file system error
when i install linux on sata hdd system the error comes that " no valid devices were found on which to create new file system , pls check your hardwere for the cause of this problem"

What's your linux kernel version ?
What's your Distro?
I got this problem - when i tried to install Fedora 2 ..
But with Fedora 7 with newer kernel version sata disk is detected perferctly
