DE204 (ewrk3) ISA network card, DSL (Knoppix Linux)

OS: Damn Small Linux 4.2.4 Sys (for older Computers), hard drive install.
DE204 (ewrk3) ISA network card / NIC.

(this worked for me)

firstly added instructions for the de204 driver module (ewrk3)

edited /etc/modprobe.d/aliases
(via terminal)

sudo beaver /etc/modprobe.d/aliases

(added 2 lines to the bottom)

alias eth0 ewrk3
options ewrk3 io=0x300 irq=10

then gave the order to use the DE204 driver
(in terminal)

sudo update-modules

rebooted
