Keyboard/trackball issues - Please help!!
Hi Guys
i'm new to linux and i'm already having trouble with a special keyboard im trying to use.
Its a keyboard with a built in trackball.
Now the weird thing is that it works on one fedore 9 install i have - but only the keyboard works on another install (also fedore 9).
The kernels are different though.
2.6.25.11-97 fc9.i686 - pc that works
2.6.25.14-108.fc9.i686 - pc that doesn't work
Anyone have any ideas on what i need to do to get it working (as its extremely urgent that i do :P)
i also have lsusb logs and system logs (when i plugged and unplugged it)
Cheers
Thanks you!

Have a look in the files /etc/X11/xorg.conf on each installation and see if there's any obvious differences for the input devices.
Unless the xorg.conf files are set up on the fly you should see something different.
