    nvidia fx5500 install probs

    please can anyone help me i have installed suse 9.1 and i cant get my fx5500 to install ive done the nvidia driver download from YAST but nothing happens how and what should i do rgds a newbie soz

    As root:

    Code:
    modprobe nvidia
    Then you'll need to edit your /etc/X11/XF86Config (or xorg.conf). Scroll to the section that says device:

    Code:
    Section "Device"
     Identifier "FX5500"
     Driver "nvidia"
    Then in the Screen section, make sure that you change the Device line to be:

    Code:
    Device "FX5500"
    Restart X and you should be good.
