    I like to sync my palm zire 72, but I couldn#t find the right device.

    Newer Palms only create a device during the sync operation. It won't exist any other time. To find out which device it is, press the sync button on your craddle, then type

    Code:
    ls -l /dev/usb/tty/
    On my MDK 10.0 box, the Palm is /dev/usb/tty/0.
