USB Fingerprint Reader Accessible Only After s2ram
Hello all.
I have a Lenovo ThinkPad X41 Tablet. I compiled and installed a heavily modified HLFS (Hardened Linux From Scratch) distribution and have been working on getting my fingerprint reader to work. I am using the fingerprint reader flawlessly right now with bioapi and pam. However, there is one problem. lsusb only sees the fingerprint reader _after_ I suspend the laptop with s2ram. The fingerprint reader cannot be used at boot. I suspect there is a udev problem here, but haven't figured anything out. My udev version is 116, I think. I compiled the latest version two months ago.
Does anyone have any ideas? I appreciate it.
