Hello all! first post in these forums...probably one of many asking for help
So i installed ubuntu yesterday after getting fed up with windows and all it's BS, so after a smooth and stupidly easy install, my comp is up and running smooth
The only problem after the install seems to be that my OS (Ubuntu 8.10) can't find the right drivers for my video card. I'm not sure exactly what it is, but its an older 32 or 64 meg GFX card, nothing special.
I attached a screenshot of the window thats giving me troubles. When I click "Enable" it tries to download and install the driver (NVIDIA Accelerated Graphics driver (version 96)) but it stays on 0% then that little window closes and i'm left at the window in the screenshot once again where i started.
any ideas would be very appreciated
