    No Sound board detected on install

    3.1 Clean Install

    I have no detected sound adaptor/board.

    My system has a Via sound board that works in the 6 other distro's I have on my system.

    What do I do to get it detected and set up?

    I don't have Linux 3.1.....
    But check in the other distributions which sound driver they are using, then find the Computer configuration utility in your Linux 3.1 and apply the same driver in the sound section...or something....too bad I don't have Linux 3.1...I could probably be more precise.
    Is that a remake of Windows 3.1?
    Or is it Windows 3.1?
