I'm running an AMD AthlonXP 2000+ at 41C. I have a Lian-Li PC-65 chock full of ThermalTake SmartFan IIs. I just installed the Thermalright SLK900U to take me from ~53C to what I'm at now.

I have a pimp case (aluminum) with 4 fans (2 in, 2 out) circulating air. My box sounds like a 747.

you like that....my old computer i had 4 10k rpm cheetah scsi drives in that thing....i had such a problem keeping it cool i had it in a intel columbus 3 case with 3 6" fans and i cut a big hole in the side of the case and actually wired up a it was like a 12" radiator fan from a acura that stayed cool...

my case i right now i have 5 of them 3or 4" fans not sure what size exactly 2 in the front/back and 1 on the side..... in the antec file server case...

sarumont: have you done anything to your case to make the air flow better to.. like cut out the fan gaurds on the case? i been thinkin of doing that to?

At the start of the day my cpu runs at about 15-16șC. However, after about 20 minutes it rockets up to around 54-56șC and stays there for the rest of the session. It hasn't caused me major problems so far but I'm considering adding an extra fan or replacing the existing one on the CPU sooner or later.

Nope. I just have rounded cables and all my cables are neatly tied together and out of the way.

Oh yeah...and right now my top exhaust fan isn't running. I forgot about that.

Edit: Right now I'm running at 39C because it's so cool in the house.
