DEC Alpha any use?
HI all,
I've got an old DEC Alpha workstation that I've been packing around for several years. Ran across it today while looking for some other stuff in the store room and it occurs that this may be useful only as a boat anchor these days... I know it's built like a tank, but I never was an Alpha workstation dude... I just inherited it and since I'm a packrat, I've still got it. It still has an old WinNT Alpha version on it I'm sure. So I'm wondering....
Can I install openSUSE 11.x on this puppy... or any other flavor of Linux?
Might be kinda fun to play with....
Thanks!

You'd have to get an Alpha build so you're best bet would be Debian I guess, there are builds of that for a gazillion architectures:
Debian -- Alpha Port
