    Question CallerID-capable PCI modem?

    Hello

I'd like to write a CRM application, so I need to find a PCI modem that can pull the CallerID (name + number) when a call comes in. I prefer PCI cards because that's one less worry compared to boxed versions (cables, transformer).

All the PCI modems I found are softmodems, and the driver is only available for Windows.

Does someone know of PCI modems that work reliably on Linux and support CID?

    Thank you.

I had decent success with the ISA version of the Multitech MT5634ZPX.
I haven't tried the PCI version...
