maximum webcam support
I recently installed linux mint 6 on my desktop and I loved it. Everything worked perfectly exceppt that my webcam was not detected. But it detected the integrated webcam on my father's laptop. So I guess my particular model isn't supported. I then installed fedora and it detected my webcam. But I don't like Fedora and I want to use Mint or some other Ubuntu based distro. Is there any way of installing Fedora's drivers on Mint or is there some other distro which supports my cam? I have an Intex IT-305WC camera. Thanks a lot!

Have a look here [ubuntu] Wecam not working Intex IT-305WC - Ubuntu Forums as it is Ubuntu 8.10 it should work in Mint 6. Apparently the prior version (Ubuntu 8.08 and therefore Mint 5) should pick it up out of the box.

My new blog. It's probably not as good as I think it is.

I have tried this already. It didn't work for me.
They said there was something that went wrong between 8.04 and 8.10. Do you think this will be corrected in the next release? I read that Mint 7 is coming out in a few months.
