Atheros AR5B91 Wireless Network Adapter
Hi! I have a notebook Acer 5230 with Atheros AR5B91 Wireless Network Adapter on it. Vista recognizes is easily. but there are problems on Linux. It just doesn't want to recognize it. When I put "iwconfig" in Shell I see only "lo" and "eth0", both without connection. My friend can see wlan0 on his HP working without problems. But I'm not.
Help me, please, because I don't know what to do: or look for a driver or what?

Since we know the chipset of the card, we mostly need to know the output of 'lsmod' on down, ie, distro, kernel version, and loaded modules.

Hi. I don't like Linux very much! But I prefer Ubuntu. All drivers, including LAN and Wi Fi are working perfect! Besides, you can install all what you want onto Ubuntu.
