    no sound after upgrading from FC6 to FC9


    After the upgrade I'm deperately unable to make the sound work.

    The hardware is ASUS P5WDH deluxe motherboard.

    # cat /proc/asound/card0/codec#* | grep Codec
    Have you googled Realtek ALC882 with Linux?
    there are many people having trouble with it.

    There is no codec*.
    I will look for ALC882
