    Compatible MB?



    Sorry for ther duplicate post, the first was in the wrong area.

    I built a new machine recently and was really hoping to use Linux preferrably OpenSuse or Ubuntu).
    The Motherboard I purchased is a ASUS P5KPL-CM. Everything works very well except that the built in sound card is not detected and does not work. Is there a work around for this.

    open a terminal and execute this:
    Code:
    lspci | grep -i audio
    and
    Code:
    lsmod | grep -i snd
    post the output of both here.
