Sound Card problem

Sorry, I have installed fedora 10 now due to sound problem.. Should I re-installed RedHat Ent 5.3 again?

Hi,
No problem was not solved. Please guide me. Everything is OK in Vista and XP. I have Dell Vostro 420 Desktop. Same machine. There are two panels in my machines: front panel and rear panel( audio panel). I am using fornt panel but sound is not working in both panels.

So we finally have the correct module loading (snd-hda-intel) and no errors on modprobe.
Does anything happen if you try to open up your volume control in the top corner? If not, try

yum install alsamixergui

to give you a simple front-end control for your master volume. Also, alsaunmute may have effect in Fedora.
