    Hi,

    I am searching some details on thermal transfer ribbon as i don`t have much knowledge about working of ribbons, so i searched on google and found some sites too like rdgguys.com ,can some please help me out regarding the same.

    What does this have to do with Linux? If you are talking about thermal dye transfer ribbons for thermal dye color printers (high-res photo printers), I would STRONGLY suggest that you get OEM ribbons for the printer and don't try to get 3rd party knock-offs. These devices are very sensitive to improperly formulated inks.
    Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
