Unfortunately, that printer is reported to be a "paperweight" according to OpenPrinting.org:
OpenPrinting database - Printer: Epson Stylus CX5500
You could try using some of the drivers on that site for other similar Epson printers, but not sure that any of them will work. You could also drill down into the files of any CD that came with the printer to see if there might be any Linux drivers on it. I doubt that you'll find any, though.oz

How do you connect to your printer DarkAngel, if it is usb maybe there's some hope...
