Does anyone know of a mini-ITX motherboard compatible with Linux?
The Linux Compatibility List mentions only the VIA EPIA PD-6000, which does not seem to be available anymore....

If it is x86 processor most likely it will be fine. These boards use pretty common hardware chipsets, they are just on smaller boards with less features.

Most of the problems with them come from the SIS and VIA chips that have no linux drivers. Here is a place to start.
DSL information any of the boards they sell work with linux.
You could also do a search on Jetway motherboards + linux
EDIT if you can find one with Intel chips, it should work.Last edited by Hal343; 09-03-2009 at 05:32 AM. Reason: spelling

I have the IONITX-C-U, that comes with an external power supply. You can always get a mini-ITX case that comes with an external power supply, like this:
Newegg.com - JETWAY JC-300-B Black Mini-ITX Tower Computer Case 60W Power Supply - Computer Cases
I also got the POV ION board because it has a PCIe slot, for a digital tuner card. Small size cases, with a slot for a card, are harder to come by, thoughPaul
