    Webcam not recognized in Firefox?


    Hi all, I am extremely new to linux and am running Ubuntu 9.04 (jaunty). I just installed it and everything seems to be working, except for webcams that need Flash. My webcam works (I've confirmed using other programs), but in firefox tokbox will give me a "device disabled" error while facebook/cameroid just show the loading screen forever. I have Flash 10 installed already.. what could be the problem? Thanks

    I'm having the same problem.

    To work around this, I use Google Chrome browser for Linux to video chat at tokbox.com
