    Now I planning to buy a motherboard , what kinds of motherboard that are supported by rhel4 and windows xp.
    and what differences between motherboards of various companies?
    third question what cheapest and best for my requirement?

    Just about any motherboard should work with them.

    I personally like ASUS, EVGA, and Gigabyte, and not necessarily in that order.

    Some of the EVGA boards are a little expensive. I'm using Gigabyte boards at the moment.
