iPod Touch 3rd generation
I have recently come into the possession of an iPod Touch 3rd generation.
I'd like to know if there is any way to sync it using Linux and the USB cable, to be as fast (or nearly) as iTunes. Obviously there is no Linux version of iTunes, and the information I have gathered that have said it is impossible are a few years old now.
Is there a way to sync this device with Linux? (Taking into account the database which means there is no mass storage support enable checkbox in iTunes)
Thanks

gtkpod and Amarok will give you some love, but there will be a complete lack of some functionality.
The best I've heard of is actually to run iTunes under Wine.Jay

I do not respond to Private Messages asking for Linux help. Please, keep it on the public boards.
