Canon S630 printer. OK on Vista, but some options missing on Karmic

I have dual-boot Vista and Karmic.

My Canon S630 printer works fine on Vista, but on Karmic several options are not available. For example, I cannot select black and white printing.

    Any advice?

That printer only works "partially" with Linux according to the Openprinting.org printer database:

OpenPrinting database - Printer: Canon S630

You might try experimenting with some different drivers to see if you get better results, or keep checking for driver updates that would give more printer options.

Your link recommends using bj8pa06n.upp driver.

This is the driver that I'm currently using. There's no option to print black and white

    Thanks for your help
