1.8" drive to 2.5"
I have a HP 2710p tablet notebook and want to install a bigger drive. It has a 1.8" Toshiba 60GB. Any idea if I can fit a larger 2.5" drive? There is not much of a choice in the 1.8" size.

Good question. My guess is that you cannot fit a large drive. The only way to tell is to remove the current drive and see if it is in a carrier which would indicate that the space would fit the larger drive. My Dell notebooks take 2.5" drives and I have removed the mount screws so I can easily remove and replace the drive - one is XP and the other is Ubuntu. Works better than a dual-boot drive for me. XP is 160 GB, and Ubuntu has a 250 GB drive.
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
