installing HP Deskjet - Linux Mint
Now I'll admit I don't know dick about Linux, but I followed the tutorial found here ( htt p:/ /hplipo pensourc e.com/hp lip-web/install/ins tall/index.ht ml) made by hp and I installed HPLIP, but hp-setup won't detect any usb printer. I unplugged and replugged it back in too.
I don't know what other information you need to know. I'm just tired of windows and the constant busy buzz I get when I restart, so any help would be appreciated. I did everything I could, and I feel like something's not quite right.

HP Linux Imaging and Printing self extracting archive.
http://hplip.sourceforge.net/downloads.html
Also available in the Mint repos thru Synaptics Package Manager.
Always works like a charm.
Hope it helps.
