    Hi
    I am also having the exact same problem and And I followed this thread upto

    modprobe snd-card-intel8x0
    And this give me result as

    FATAL: Module snd_card_intel8x0 not found.

    Please guide me to solve the issue

    Hi,

    Probably you have some old modules being loaded in your /etc/modprobe.conf file. Check that file out.
