Hi,

I'm receiving from a RS232 transmitter through minicom.

If I enable "handshake" option in minicom, does minicom actually generates a signal that I can observe its waveform in a scope? (if yes, should the waveform behavior significantly differently whether minicom's set baud rate matches the transmitter or not?)
