everything is working well except for lack of sound.
the speakers of my laptop are of altec lansing,(my laptop-hp pavillion dv6 1211)

ubuntu 9.1: lack of sound
hey folks,i m using ubuntu 9.1.........
everything is working well except for lack of sound.
the speakers of my laptop are of altec lansing,(my laptop-hp pavillion dv6 1211)
i guess its bcoz of lack of driver...
and the problem is i m unable to find a link from where i can download the same.
or is there ny way,where in i can make my laptop's sound work?
plz help.

Hey use your Repository in the Administrator drop down and update any drivers youfind in there for your onboard sound.
