    Backlight Control Inquiries

    Hello,

"xrandr --output LVDS --set BACKLIGHT_CONTROL native"

Works on my Fedora & Mint partition to let me control brightness on my laptop using Hotkeys. However, the same command does not work in Ubuntu giving me this error report instead:

    Code:
jun@jun-laptop:~$ xrandr --output LVDS --set BCAKLIGHT_CONTROL native
X Error of failed request: BadRROutput (invalid Output parameter)
Major opcode of failed request: 149 (RANDR)
Minor opcode of failed request: 15 (RRGetOutputProperty)
Serial number of failed request: 26
Current serial number in output stream: 26
    jun@jun-laptop:~$
I have taken the liberty to post outputs of xrandr from Fedora and Ubuntu hoping that somebody might be able to help me decipher what's going on

    Thanks so much!
