I'm using SLED 11 SP1 X86_64 on a HP ProBook 6540b with an ATI Mobitity Radeon HD 4550 graphics card.

I'm wanting to use dual screens so I have downloaded the ATI Catalyst driver (10.7)and installed it.

Before installing the driver I had my desktop resolution set to 1600 x 900.
After installing the ATI driver the maximum resolution I can see is 1280 x 800.

I have removed the ATI driver and I get the 1600 x 900 resolution again but I can't use a dual screen.

Does anyone know how to set the ATI to 1600 x 900 or alternatively make the standard SLED graphics use dual screens.
