Is it possible to scan photos with an Epson Stylus NX515?

I have look all over the Internet and I can not find a solution. I installed SANE but it says it can not find any devices. I am starting to think getting an HP would have been a better idea since I like Linux. It can print just fine but does anyone know if it is possible to scan images with an Epson Stylus NX515?.

I can be found either 40 miles west of Chicago, in Chicago, or in a galaxy far, far away.
You need the Epson scanner drivers from - the official source for Epson-certified Linux drivers (printers and scanners). I have an Epson Perfection 4490 and it works great. Here is the appropriate page with printer and scanner drivers, etc. for this device: News | AVASYS CORPORATION

    Problem Solved

I download Image Scan! for Linux. I just had to download the right version of it and now my Epson Stylus NX515 can scan photos.
