Wi-fi Card

Hi Everyone,

I have been dual booting between linspire, and windows for a couple of months, and i have fallen in love with linux. The only problem i was faced with was the wireless internet. I have a Gateway 200 ARC Ultralight Laptop (Specs Here) (http://support.gateway.com/s/Mobile/...501609nv.shtml)
With centrino. The specs on the gateway support site say it's compatible with these OS's (Microsoft® Windows® XP, Windows 2000, Windows Me, Windows 98SE, Windows NT® 4.0, Windows XP Tablet and Linux) I asked the forum on linspire, but they just told me to buy a netgear external card. I know that my card is compatible with a distro of linux, but im not sure which. Please tell me if you know or can help me out.

well what have you done to try to get it to work?

well, i asked a guy on the linspire forum, and he told me there was nothing i could do. He said to go and buy a new card, or switch OS. That didn't help at all. I told him there had to be a way and he said that maybe V. 5 would fix the problem. I could probably spend a bunch of time trying to fix it, but i really don't want to, and I kind-of need it to work now. I don't mind switching my OS, so if you know which it would work on without me wasting a bunch of time trying to fix it, it would be much appreciated.
