Smile Driver needed for A4-Tech 3 + 5 buttons mouse

I have this A4-Tech many buttons mouse. I really cannot tell how many since I don't know how to count them. There are two small buttons just in front of the middle button (scrolling button). In Windows XP I use them to copy and paste (instead of ctrl-c and ctrl-v) and I would love to activate the same functionality under OpenSUSE (11.3). Does anyone know of a software / driver that makes that possible ?!

    Mouse model: BW-5

    Thanks in advance.

Hello and welcome to the forums!

I'm not familiar with that mouse, but you could try installing btnx to see if it will work for you:

Their website doesn't seem to be working properly at the moment but you might be able to download elsewhere or try their website again later.
