    Any managed Ethernet switches with Linux software available?


    Does anybody know know if there are any managed Ethernet switches with Linux based software/firmware available? I Googled this for two days but haven't been able to find any.
    I know there is a router with Linux firmware available, for example the Buffalo model WZR-HP-G300NH using DD-WRT but I haven't been able to find linux based Ethernet switch. Any suggestions??

    I'm sure there are, but the manufacturers may not be advertising that fact. As you noted, there are a number of Linux-based routers/switches. As for pure switches, that I'm not sure of. What switches have you looked at?
