A Debian Net Install will work also.
Just don't install Gnome or KDE. Use Lightweight Desktop like Open Box,Fluxbox,Icewm,E17. Light file manager like thunar,pcmanfm,or rox.
Light browser like Midori, Iceape,SeaMonkey,etc....
