linux on the viliv n5 (or umid bz)?

Hi, I'm looking at buying a small umpc, such as the viliv n5 looks like my favorite. But anyway it has the intel gma500 graphics chipset. What's the state of drivers on that? Most of the posts I read about gma500 drivers were from like 2009 or so I guess, where's the most recent information? Are there any drivers in the kernel source itself? Also do any drivers offer 3D acceleration?

If no drivers like that exist, is there any way to get technical info on the device itself?

Also what network wireless chipset does it use?

You can see the state of the Poulsbo drivers for Ubuntu at least here.

More info and tips, most of which are distro agnostic, are on the Arch Wiki.

General state of things seems to be that the drivers are still problematic, but with some tweaking you can get workable if not great 3D acceleration.
