Hard drive question.
I did a SMART scan using Mint 11 and it came up with one problem found even though using a similar tool in Windows found nothing.
Is my hard drive failing?
This should be a picture of the warning in question:

Hello
I'd recommend also checking it with the diagnostics utility distributed by your hard drive manufacturer (check their website for it). If the drive isn't too old, you might even have some warranty time left on it.oz

Thanks, I downloaded the Western Digital tool and it didn't find any problems. I guess Mint was being overcautious.

1 bad sector is not a problem. Most drives have a number of bad/remapped sectors. Yours allows up to 200 before it cannot automatically fix them.
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
