    While in alsamixer

    Code:
    ┌───────────────────────────── AlsaMixer v1.0.23 ──────────────────────────────┐
    │ Card: HDA Intel F1: Help │
    │ Chip: Realtek ALC662 rev1 F2: System information │
    │ View: F3:[Playback] F4: Capture F5: All F6: Select sound card │
│ Item: Master [dB gain: 0.00]
Notice How card and chip are shown. You can also select sound card by using F6. Does your

    C-Media Electronics Inc
Show up in alsamixer like my HDA Intel does .

olexandr, did U solve the problem? Notice when you run: cat /proc/asound/cards
Do the devices switch numbers after booting at different times? Also, did U try alsamixer -c # ? Where # is one of those numbers.
I should not be writing this as I HATE ALSA, nevertheless, did U run alsaconf and alsactl store?
